Welcome to the Michael Connell personal training website. I am an endurance-based trainer offering home personal training for the Cheshire, Manchester, Wilmslow, Macclesfield, Cheadle Hulme, Bredbury, Alderley Edge, Knutsford, Bowden and Didsbury areas.
I specialise in weight loss, muscle gain, muscle toning, core strength and stability, and circuit training. I can also offer you professional nutritional advice.
Just because a personal trainer is fully qualified, it doesn't necessarily mean he or she is right for you. Before you take the plunge and decide on a particular personal trainer, ask yourself a few important questions.
I can answer "yes" to each of those questions. You will start your training by telling me what your needs are, and I will build your training sessions around that information.
You will only be given realistic targets that you are capable of achieving, and while each of the sessions will be challenging, you can rest assured they will always be enjoyable as well.

We will plan your home personal training programme together, setting targets that you can realistically achieve to instil confidence and personal satisfaction.
At this stage we will then plan the best times for your training sessions, as well as the most suitable dates, at a place that suits you best.
After all the planning, it's time for action! We will commence your home personal training, according to the plan, making adjustments, if necessary, along the way.
Once you are up and running, i will aim to build an assessment schedule for every 6 weeks. This schedule will look at your fitness achievements & future goals.
I have a diploma in fitness instruction and personal training, as well as another in GP exercise referral. I am also qualified in outdoor fitness, circuit instruction and group indoor cycling.
